Luek, dressage star & movie stunt horse - Yesterday I met Luek, Kristi Ullman's handsome new superstar. (Kristi also owns Duek, Antonio Banderas's mount in The Mask of Zorro.) Luek is a ten-year-old Azteca (half Andalusian, half Quarter Horse). He remained a stallion until just last year (as his gorgeous build clearly suggests). Here, we play with lateral work at both trot canter, a single flying change, and one medium trot lengthening, gently getting to know each other, and experimenting with each other's sense of rhythm and harmony.
